Vayigash (And he Came Near)

“Remember the former things long past, For I am YHVH, and there is no other; I am YHVH, and there is no one like Me, Declaring the end from the beginning And from ancient times things which have not been done, Saying, ‘My purpose will be established, And I will accomplish all My good pleasure’; Isaiah 46:9-10b
This portion is going to speak to us right where we are at. I wrote an email a while back from several Scriptures out of this portion and several scoffers replied telling me that I was stretching this a bit. Matter of fact, I believe I sent that email out around October 24th needless to say the ‘scoffers’ who ‘felt’ I was stretching it a bit haven’t responded since. It might be due to the fact that things have gotten even worse than what I was explaining in the email. I digress. Sorry it burdens me when folks don’t have eyes to see and are dull of hearing.
We’re going to look at the story of Yosef and the 7 years of famine which is a type and shadow of the tribulation time. Not only to see what happened then but what is going to take place in our generation. The background of this story is about Joseph and his family going into Egypt and how they were received.1 Yosef and his family received the best of favor and got the best of the land, when they entered in. So what we basically see here is how Yosef & his family were highly favored. Interestingly, the setting in the Exodus is a bit different though.2 The setting of the Exodus is there was a Pharaoh that knew not Joseph. So the latter Pharaoh did things opposite than the first Pharaoh because he knew not Joseph. Rather than the children of Israel living in favor and freedom that the first Pharaoh placed upon them, they were now subject to the second Pharaoh & the bondage he placed upon them.3 This is the pattern that we have been looking for because when we cry out when we are in bondage the Eternal doesn’t turn a deaf ear.
So what we have seen so far is that they go to a land where they are blessed and highly favored but then that favor and blessing is no longer present in the land. Beginning to hit home yet? The USA was founded by those seeking to worship the God of Israel without religious persecution AND government interference. This was so ideal to our forefathers that a war was fought to achieve this freedom. So our country was thus formed on the values of Judeo-Christian principles from the Hebrew Scriptures. Today these principles are mocked through the media and Hollywood so much so that the media portrays someone who believes in the Scriptures as a wacko or right wing conservative. So summing this up right now for the States, we are living in the times where there has arisen a Pharaoh who doesn’t know Yosef nor embrace Judeo-Christian values.
Let’s move on to see what is taking place in the seven years of famine.4 ‘If’ we are prophetically at tribulation days and the end of times and the season of the tribulation we need to see what we are reading here be a pattern for us. Let’s take a look at the steps.
The Three Step Program
Step 1 Yosef brought all the money into Pharaoh’s house.
What the governments of the world and yes including OURS also have done over the past few several years in response to the baking and financial crisis is they have NATIONALIZED the problem. They have brought banking and finances & the mortgage industry UNDER GOVERNMENT CONTROL!!! That is what the trillions of dollars in bailout money was all about, brining things under national control! What is that really about? Well glad you asked. It’s about taking the money and bringing it into Pharaoh’s house.5 So we have seen step one fulfilled right in front of our eyes. Many still are ignorant to what is going on, I might add. So they brought their livestock to Joseph, and Joseph gave them food in exchange for the horses and the flocks and the herds and the donkeys; and he fed them with food in exchange for all their livestock that year.
Step 2 The dollar is so close to collapsing.
The money failed and the people decided in order to live they had to sell their possessions just so they can get something to eat and be able to survive. Bankruptcy and people selling everything just so they can survive.6
Step 3 Pledging the land and themselves to Pharaoh.
This is 100% a picture of the beast system or the 666 system. Remember the 666 system is accept us and our system, in exchange we will allow you to eat and live. If the system is going to feed people during the tribulation, logically speaking what would be the best way to feed large groups of people?7 You would drag them into big cities passing through checkpoints and verify that you aren’t a threat or a domestic terrorist (by the way under the first Patriot Act ALL folks who are acquainted with a religion no matter Muslim, Catholic, Hindu, Buddhists, Baptist, Pentecostal, and so forth are considered terrorists; I found this out first hand when I was held in an airport and questioned for forty-five minutes and all of my belongings were gone through and some things were even kept by the TSA officer questioning me because I wrote missionary as my occupation on my customs card!!!) Ok back to Step three. Basically, inside the designated city they will give you your food ration. These verses we looked at here are a spiritual picture of not only getting us to the beast system but getting us to accept it.8 The Israelites didn’t sell their land or themselves. They overcame and are a spiritual picture to those who WILL NOT accept the beast system.
Folks don’t be fooled by the smoke and mirrors of the media or THIS CURRENT PUSH that Pres. Barry Soetoro is the Anointed One that will bring the change everyone is looking for. Wake up and see what is going on behind closed doors!!! Ask the Ruach HaKodesh (Hebrew for Holy Spirit) to reveal things to you. This is why it is so important to not reject the Torah or believe that it has been done away with. When we do that we wipe out our foundation that we are standing and building on!!!
We are living in the days of Elijah according to:
Malachi 4:4-6 Remember ye the Torah of Moses my servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statutes and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the LORD: And he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse.
The days of Elijah are days of returning to the Torah, they are days of challenge (choose this day who you will serve). Choose the God of Israel and His Torah or choose Baal which is mixed worship or mixing together with the Babylonian system. If you choose Torah your heart will be turned back to the Fathers (Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob and these guys always point us to the God of Israel). Also by choosing to return to the Torah, we are choosing to fully obey and there is no conflict between Messiah and the Torah because they are one or better stated Messiah is the living Torah!!! That’s the Elijah message.
This returning doesn’t come without conflict or persecution from the arch enemy of Elijah. Yes you guessed it Jezebel.
Characteristics of the Jezebel spirit
1. Seizing something that isn’t hers. She wanted to seize Nabath’s vineyard.
2. Lying and manipulating to control to have power over people and if you don’t submit to the control and manipulation of her, she will seek to destroy you.
This is the test of the end of days before we are able to enter into the Kingdom with Messiah Y’shua. We have to be tested with the spirit of Jezebel which means the beast system. So if we submit to it you will not be an over comer nor enter into the Kingdom. The spirit of Jezebel will offer us the Esav test. The Esav test is because he had a need to eat at the moment, he was offered an exchange to eat today for the birthright. What is our birthright? It’s the Kingdom. It’s ruling and reigning with Messiah and standing on the covenant that was made with Abraham, Isaac, & Jacob. That’s our birthright.
The spirit of Jezebel is soon to begin to make offers like, you want to eat come into the cities, and you want to eat, accept the system because it can take care of you and provide for you but the system will also say if you don’t then you will die. There is going to be an extreme push to socialize everyone in the States and other parts of the world.
It’s my prayer that those of you who have read this will take this to prayer and seek the Father and His wisdom in what you need to do to prepare because the worst thing that you could do is not prepare and it come upon you like a THIEF IN THE NIGHT!!!
